Alumni

Welcome to the alumni section of the website. Here, you can find out about staying in touch with the orchestra as an old member. Whilst we would encourage alumni to consider supporting the orchestra financially, we are also very keen to stay in touch with you: stay up to date with what you're doing now, and keep you informed of all the exciting things happening with OUO.

We would love to hear from you, to hear about your time in OUO and what you're up to now (musical or not!). You can see as much as we know about our history on the Concerts page, we'd love to add your memories and pictures to this archive and expand it further backwards if you have any information. Excitingly, we have recently found out about some OUO concerts from 1966/67. Please get in touch with Bradley via ouo@ox.ac.uk if you have anything at all to share.

You can also use this email address to become part of our 'Where Are They Now' series which we are developing to share the stories of OUO members and what they have gone on to do in their lives after Oxford. We'd love to hear from you and re-connect with the previous generation of the orchestra.

Staying up-to-date with OUO

We hope that you want to find out about all of our exciting plans for concerts and projects with OUO. The best way to do this is to sign up to our mailing list by filling in the short form on the contact page.

You can also find links to our active social media accounts on the homepage and at the bottom of the web page.

Finally there is a facebook group specifically for OUO alumni for you to join so that you can connect with other alumni and see any relevant posts.

Where Are They Now?

OUO alumni go on to do amazing things following their time in the orchestra, some with their instruments, some related to the music and arts industries, and some doing something completely unrelated. To celebrate this diversity and your achievements, we're putting together this section (now live!) to share your stories.

We're working on the first few profiles now and Bradley would be very grateful if you'd like to contribute, however interesting or exciting you might think your story is. Please drop him a message via ouo@ox.ac.uk, we look forward to hearing from you.
